Dodonaea angustifolia Linnaeus f.. Common name: Narrowleaf Varnishleaf, Narrowleaf Hopbush. Habitat: Pinelands, scrub, coastal dunes, margins of marl prairies. Distribution: S. FL; West Indies; Mexico, Central America, and South America; Paleotropics.
Origin/Endemic status: Native
Other Comments: This taxon is the most widespread in FL, occurring inland in the peninsula, on the east coast north from Martin County to Brevard County, on the sw. peninsular coast north to Sarasota County, and in the interior north to Highlands County (Gann et al. 2017).
