not marked as a favorite taxon Cyperus excurrens J.R. Carter & P.D. Lowe. Common name: Excurrent Flatsedge. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Sporadically appearing in exsiccated bottoms of karst ponds in the Coastal Plain. Distribution: Known only from sw. GA, perhaps to be expected in se. AL and FL Panhandle.
