Chenopodium berlandieri Moquin-Tandon var. macrocalycium (Aellen) Cronquist. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Coastal sands, beaches. Distribution: Nova Scotia south to Florida. See Ungberg (2022) for discussion of its occurrence in North Carolina.
