*Jatropha gossypiifolia Linnaeus. Bellyache Bush, Tatto Bush. Hab: Disturbed areas. Dist: Nativ of tropical America, now widely distributed in the New World and Old World tropics.

Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics

Taxonomy Comments: "It is a complex species with more than 40 described varieties, subspecies, and forms, some of which are sometimes considered distinct species" (Dehgan 2016).
