not marked as a favorite taxon Atriplex prostrata Boucher ex A.P. de Candolle. Common name: Thinleaf Orach, Fat-hen. Phenology: Jul-frost. Habitat: Marsh edges, brackish flats. Distribution: Widespread in e. North America, also in w. North America and Eurasia, usually considered to be native of Eurasia. Considered native in coastal areas of New England and adventive inland (Haines 2011).
