*Ornithogalum pyrenaicum . Habitat: Mowed road banks. Distribution: Native of Europe. This species was excluded from FMA as follows: "Ornithogalum pyrenaicum Linnaeus was apparently naturalized for a number of years at Elkins, West Virginia (E. E. Hutton and R. E. Clarkson 1961), but it is now extirpated from that site." (Straley & Utech 2002). We include it as a waif for at least historical reasons.
