Senega lewtonii (Small) J.F.B. Pastore & J.R. Abbott. Subgenus: Senega. Section: Cleistogamae. Sand Sweethearts, Lewton’s Milkwort. Phen: Feb-Mar. Hab: Longleaf pine sandhills, Florida scrub, often on yellow sands. Dist: N. FL peninsula (Marion County) south to c. FL.
