Honckenya peploides (Linnaeus) Ehrhart ssp. robusta (Fernald) Hultén. Southern Seabeach-chickweed, Southern Sea-sandwort. Phen: Jun-Jul. Hab: Seabeaches and dunes. Dist: The species is circumboreal, in North America ranging south to e. VA.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: Ssp. robusta ranges from NL (Newfoundland) south to e. VA; three other subspecies do not occur south of NL (Newfoundland)

Synonymy : = FNA5, K1, K3, K4, NE, NY, Va; = Arenaria peploides L. var. robusta Fernald – F, Tat; = Honckenya peploides (L.) Ehrh. var. robusta (Fernald) House – C; = Honkenya peploides ssp. robusta – G, apparently misspelled
