Cryptantha mexicana (Brandegee) I.M. Johnston. Common name: Mexican Cat's-eye. Phenology: Apr-Jun. Habitat: In calcareous soils over limestone or caliche. Distribution: S. TX, c. TX, w. TX, and NM south to c. Mexico.
