Calibrachoa parviflora (A.L. de Jussieu) D'Arcy. Wild Petunia, Seaside Petunia. Phen: Apr-Sep. Hab: Upper edges of salt marshes, drawdown shores, waste areas, garbage dumps. Dist: Presumably native of tropical America, though perhaps native in parts of our area (especially along the Gulf Coast and south to s. TX). Tatnall (1946) documents its occurrence in Virginia: "upper edge of salt marsh, Wachapreague", Accomack County (Fernald & Long 4169, 26 Jul 1934).
