Guapira discolor (Sprengel) Little. Blolly, Beeftree, Pigeonberry, Narrowleaf Blolly. Hab: Tropical hammocks, pine rocklands, shell mounds, coastal berms and strands. Dist: S. and c. peninsular FL; West Indies; n. South America.

Taxonomy Comments: As shown by the synonymy, variation has been taxonomically interpreted in various ways by past workers; we appear to still lack an accurate taxonomy for Guapira in our area.
