*Lamprocapnos spectabilis (Linnaeus) Fukuhara. Common name: Bleeding Heart. Phenology: Apr-May. Habitat: Widely cultivated, possibly persistent or weakly naturalizing; Distribution: Native to e. Siberia, Korea, and n. China. Reported for KY, TN, MD, PA, MO (Kartesz 2022) and various places in ne. United States.

Origin/Endemic status: E. and se. Asia

Synonymy : = K4, Mi, NE, NY, POWO; Fumaria spectabilis L.; = Dicentra spectabilis (L.) Lem. — FNA3, NS, Stern (1961); = n/a — C, Pa, Tat. Basionym: Fumaria spectabilis L. 1753
