*Neptunia oleracea Loureiro. Common name: Garden-puff, Water Mimosa, Garden-mimosa. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Floating aquatic in ponds, slow-moving waters. Distribution: Native of the Neotropics.

Origin/Endemic status: Pantropics

Synonymy : = Ar, FNA11.1, K4, POWO; = n/a — NS, Lewis et al. (2005) et al. (2004). Basionym: Neptunia oleracea Lour. 1790
