Spergularia canadensis (Persoon) G. Don var. canadensis. Common name: Canadian Sandspurrey. Phenology: Jun-Aug. Habitat: Salt marshes, beaches, brackish river edges. Distribution: NL and Nunavut south to NY (Long Island), n. NJ, and Ontario.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = Can, FNA5, K4, NY; Arenaria canadensis Pers.; = Spergularia canadensis (Pers.) G.Don ssp. canadensis — NE; < Spergularia canadensis (Pers.) G.Don — C, F. Basionym: Arenaria canadensis Pers. 1805
