Cevallia sinuata Lagasca y Segura. Common name: Stinging-serpent, Stinging Cevallia. Phenology: Jun-Aug (-Oct). Habitat: Rocky or gravelly open areas. Distribution: OK, n. NM, and n. AZ south through c. and w. TX to s. TX and Mexico.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
