Pilostyles thurberi A. Gray. Common name: Thurber's Pilostyles. Phenology: Jan-Jul. Habitat: Parasitic within the stems of Dalea and (further west) Psorothamnus. Distribution: C. TX west to NV and s. CA, south to c. Mexico.
