Campsis Loureiro. Common name: Trumpet-creeper.
The only other species in the genus is the e. Asian C. grandiflora (Thunberg) K. Schumann. Wen & Jansen (1995) estimated the age since divergence to be 24.4 million years, based on molecular divergence.
