*Chrysopogon aciculatus (Retzius) Trinius. Common name: Golden Beardgrass, Mackie's Pest, Amorseco. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Open disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of tropical Asia, Australia, and Polynesia. Reported for Miami-Dade County (Bradley [in prep.]).
Origin/Endemic status: E., se., and s. Asia
