Isoetes acadiensis L. Kott. Common name: Acadian Quillwort. Habitat: Freshwater tidal marshes. Distribution: S to MA only. Probably not a good species; under investigation.
Origin/Endemic status: N. North America
Other Comments: A tetraploid species (2n=44).
