Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: A hybrid of E. perfoliatum and E. serotinum. It is unclear the degree to which this hybrid reproduces independently and occurs independently of one or both parents, though McKain, Chapman, & Ingram (2010) found only F1 hybrids in their sampling. See McKain, Chapman, & Ingram (2010) and Tucker & Dill (1989) for additional, detailed information on this taxon.
