Solidago brachyphylla Chapman. Common name: Dixie Goldenrod. Phenology: Sep-Nov. Habitat: Open woodlands, bluff forests. Distribution: SC south to ne. FL and Panhandle FL, west to s. AL (s. MS?). A report from NC is based on a misidentified specimen.
