Dichanthelium depauperatum (Muhlenberg) Gould. Common name: Starved Witchgrass. Phenology: Apr-Sep. Habitat: Dry soils of grasslands and open woods, often on disturbed soils of roadsides and ditches. Distribution: NL (Newfoundland) and MN south to GA and TX.
