Damburneya coriacea (Swartz) Trofimov & Rohwer. Common name: Lancewood. Phenology: Mar-Jun. Habitat: Hammocks, shell mounds, coastal berms. Distribution: S. and c. peninsular FL (Volusia County on the east side of the peninsula, and Collier County on the west side); widespread in the West Indies; e. and se. Mexico (especially Yucatán); Central America (Caribbean coasts of Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras).
