Alloberberis swaseyi (Buckley ex M.J. Young) C.C. Yu & K.F. Chung. Common name: Texas Barberry. Habitat: Dry woodlands on limestone. Distribution: Edwards Plateau, in the border zone of our region in Travis, Hays, Comal, & Bexar counties, TX.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
