not marked as a favorite taxon Blitum capitatum Linnaeus ssp. capitatum. Common name: Indian-paint, Strawberry-blite. Phenology: May-Aug. Habitat: Disturbed areas. Distribution: Native, south to scattered locations in Pennsylvania (Rhoads & Klein 1993), s. Ohio, and s. Indiana (Kartesz 2010).
