not marked as a favorite taxon Hieracium traillii E.L. Greene. Common name: Shale-barren Hawkweed. Phenology: May-Aug. Habitat: Shale barrens and dry shaley woodlands, other xeric woodlands. Distribution: Sc. PA south to w. VA and e. WV. County records from n. OH reported in Kartesz (2022) are provisionally excluded.
