*Euphorbia thymifolia Linnaeus. Subgenus: Chamaesyce. Section: Anisophyllum. Common name: Gulf Sandmat. Phenology: Jun-Sep. Habitat: Disturbed uplands. Distribution: Peninsular FL (where probably adventive); West Indies; Mexico; South America.

Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics

Other Comments: I've not been able to locate specimens associated with the apparent records described from LA in Berry et al. (2016).
