*Poterium sanguisorba Linnaeus var. polygamum (Waldstein & Kitaibel) Visiani. Common name: Salad Burnet, Garden Burnet, Fodder Burnet. Phenology: Jun-Jul. Habitat: Cultivated as an herb and salad green, escaped to moist, disturbed areas, including roadsides and pastures. Distribution: Native of Europe. Reported for AL (Diamond & Keener 2012).
