Eryngium

not marked as a favorite taxon Eryngium ludovicianum Morong. Common name: Savanna Eryngo. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Seepages and depressions in longleaf pinelands, conservative and generally in highly acid soils. Distribution: E. ludovicianum is endemic to the West Gulf Coastal Plain of LA and East Texas, with a more southerly distribution than E. lanceolatum.
