Taxonomy Comments: See DeLaney, Bissett, & Weidenhamer (1999), Ward (2001), Orzell & Bridges (2002), Schilling (2011b), and Bridges & Orzell (2017b) for discussion of this s. Florida taxon related to T. odoratissima, and variously treated in Carphephorus and Trilisa and at variety and species rank (see synonymy). See Ward (2022) for comparisons and a key to this taxon, T. paniculata, and their hybrid, Trilisa ×subpaniculata.
