Hymenopappus tenuifolius Pursh. Common name: Chalkhill Woollywhite. Phenology: (Apr-) May-Jul (-Aug). Habitat: Sandy prairies, rocky hillsides over limestone. Distribution: SD and ne. WY south to TX and NM.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = FNA21, GrPl, K4, NcTx, Turner (1956). Basionym: Hymenopappus tenuifolius Pursh 1814
