Thymophylla pentachaeta (A.P. de Candolle) Small var. pentachaeta . Common name: Plateau Thymeleaf. Phenology: Sep-Oct. Habitat: Woodlands and prairies, especially over limestone or other calcareous substrates, eastwards as a waif near will-combing mills. Distribution: C. and s. TX south into Mexico.
