Digitaria filiformis (Linnaeus) Koeler. Common name: Slender Crabgrass. Phenology: Mar-Dec. Habitat: Pine flatwoods, longleaf pine sandhill, fields, roadsides, disturbed areas. Distribution: Widespread in e. North America.

Taxonomy Comments: Nichols et al. (2024) reevaluated the taxonomy of the Digitaria filiformis complex; we follow their decision to treat D. filiformis and D. laeviglumis at species rank.
