*Psammophiliella muralis (Linnaeus) Ikonnikov. Common name: Cushion Baby's-breath. Phenology: Jun-Aug. Habitat: Disturbed areas, roadsides, yards, cemeteries. Distribution: Native of Eurasia. Found in Alamance County, North Carolina (McCormick, pers. comm., 2009). Reported for various eastern states, including Kentucky, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, New Jersey (FNA). Several collections from the Piedmont of North Carolina show that this species is naturalizing away from dwellings.
