*Viburnum plicatum Thunberg. Common name: Japanese Snowball, Doublefile Viburnum. Phenology: Late May-early Jun. Habitat: Suburban woodlands. Distribution: Native of e. Asia. Reported as naturalizing in various states, including n. VA (Steury 2011), se. and sw. PA (Rhoads & Klein 1993), OH (Cooperrider 1995), MI (Voss 1996), and others, and apparently becoming more aggressive.
