Echinocereus papillosus Linke ex Haage. Common name: Yellow-flowered Alicoche. Phenology: Mar; May-Jun. Habitat: Open prairies, mesquital, thornscrub. Distribution: S. TX and ne. Mexico (NLE, SLP, TAM).
