Ophioglossum nudicaule Linnaeus f.. Common name: Slender Adder’s-tongue. Phenology: Mar-Jun. Habitat: Pine flatwoods, lawns, and other moist, grassy areas. Distribution: E. NC south to s. FL, west to TX; West Indies; Mexico, Central, and South America; Asia; Africa. First reported from NC by Thomas & Marx (1979).
