Lathyrus japonicus Willdenow var. pellitus Fernald. Common name: Hairy Beach Pea. Phenology: Apr-Sep. Habitat: Ocean beaches. Distribution: Northeastern North America, along the coast from NL south to NJ, and also around the Great Lakes.
