Rotanthella floridana (S. Watson ex A. Gray) Morin. Common name: Florida Bellflower. Phenology: Mar-May. Habitat: Cypress ponds, depression marshes, wet prairies. Distribution: Ne. FL and Panhandle FL south to s. peninsular FL. Apparently introduced in Mobile County, AL (Horne 2133; 2196); a specimen from Okefenokee Swamp needs verification (ILLS 165258).
