*Cicca acida (Linnaeus) Merrill. Common name: Tahitian Gooseberry-tree, Otaheite. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Disturbed areas, from horticultural use. Distribution: Native of South America (Brazil).

Origin/Endemic status: Paleotropics

Synonymy : = Bouman et al (2022); = Phyllanthus acidus (L.) Skeels — Bah, Fl2, FNA12, K4; Averrhoa acida Linnaeus. Basionym: Averrhoa acida L. 1753
