Polygonella gracilis (Nuttall) Meisner. Common name: Wireweed. Phenology: Late Aug-Oct; Oct-Jan. Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills. Distribution: Sc. NC south to s. FL, west to s. MS, perhaps adventive toward the northern part of the range.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Synonymy : = Fl4, FNA5, RAB, S13, WH3, Horton (1961), (basionym); = Delopyrum gracile (Meisn.) Small — S, nom. illeg.; = Polygonum pinicola T.M.Schust. & Reveal — K4, Schuster, Reveal, & Kron (2011); = Polygonum tenerum Spreng.
