Micranthemum umbrosum (J.F. Gmelin) Blake. Common name: Shade Mudflower. Phenology: May-Oct. Habitat: Shallow pools, stagnant streams, wet depressions in swamp forests. Distribution: Se. VA south to FL, west to TX, and south into tropical America (Mexico, Central America, West Indies, e. South America).

Origin/Endemic status: Native
