*Malus toringo (Siebold) Siebold ex de Vriese. Common name: Toringo Crabapple, Siebold Crabapple, Japanese Crabapple. Phenology: Apr-Jun; Aug-Sep. Habitat: Cultivated horticulturally, escaping to disturbed areas and suburban woodlands. Distribution: Native of e. Asia. Reported, as M. sieboldii, for Fairfax County, VA (Steury 2011).
