Cheiroglossa palmata (Linnaeus) C. Presl. Common name: Hand-fern. Habitat: Epiphytic in strand swamps and hammocks, especially in and around the leaf bases of Sabal palmetto. Distribution: Peninsular FL; West Indies; Mexico (CHP, OAX), Central America, and South America; References o distribution in Africa and tropical Asia are based on other species.
