Cassytha filiformis Linnaeus. Common name: Love-vine. Phenology: (Jan-) May-Jul (-Dec). Habitat: Hammocks, pine flatwoods, longleaf pine sandhills, Florida scrub, coastal strands, disturbed areas. Distribution: C. and s. peninsular FL; West Indies; s. TX, se. Mexico (CAM, CHP, ROO, VER, YUC), Central America, and South America; tropical Asia, Africa, and Pacific islands.
