*Actinidia chinensis Planchon var. deliciosa (A. Chevalier) A. Chevalier. Common name: Green Kiwi-fruit, Chinese Gooseberry. Phenology: Apr-Jun; Sep-Oct. Habitat: Suburban woodlands, floodplains. Distribution: Native of e. Asia. Reported as naturalized in nc. TN and AR (Serviss, Mason, & Bray 2012) and in sw. OH in Hamilton County (Tepe & Conover 2019), but becoming more commonly and widely naturalized.

Origin/Endemic status: E. and se. Asia

Taxonomy Comments: Two other varieties occur in China.

Synonymy : = FNA13, POWO, Li, Li, & Soejarto in Flora of China (2007); = Actinidia deliciosa (A.Chev.) C.F.Liang & A.R.Ferguson — K4; = n/a — C, F, NS, RAB; < Actinidia chinensis Planch. Basionym: Actinidia latifolia (Gardner & Champ.) Merr. var. deliciosa A. Chev. 1940
