Habitat: Suburban woodlands, floodplains. Distribution: Native of e. Asia. Reported as naturalized in nc. TN and AR (Serviss, Mason, & Bray 2012) and in sw. OH in Hamilton County (Tepe & Conover 2019), but becoming more commonly and widely naturalized.
