Tridens albescens (Vasey) Wooten & Standley. Common name: White Tridens, White Fluffgrass. Phenology: Mar-Nov. Habitat: Dry grasslands; eastwards (SC) in waste area near wool-combing mill, presumably merely a waif. Distribution: KS, NM, AZ south through TX into Mexico (CHH, COA, DGO, NLE, TAM).
