*Bambusa multiplex (Loureiro) Raeuschel ex Schultes & Schultes f.. Common name: Hedge Bamboo, Dwarf Bamboo, Oriental Hedge Bamboo. Habitat: Disturbed areas, spread vegetatively from horticultural use. Distribution: Native of se. Asia. Reported as naturalized or persistent in portions of the southeastern United States, including GA, FL Panhandle, and FL peninsula.
