Rhododendron coryi Shinners. Phen: (Mar-) Apr-May. Hab: Longleaf pine savanna ecotones to bayheads, pineland seepage slopes. Dist: S. GA and FL Panhandle west to e. TX, in the Coastal Plain.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Synonymy: = Tx; = Rhododendron viscosum (L.) Torr. var. aemulans Rehder – Wilson & Rehder (1921); < Azalea viscosa L. – S; < Rhododendron viscosum (L.) Torr. – Fl5, FNA8, GW2, K1, K3, K4, WH3, Luteyn et al (1996)
