*Pisum sativum Linnaeus var. sativum. Common name: Pea, Garden Pea, English Pea. Phenology: Mar-May. Habitat: Commonly cultivated in home gardens, rarely found as a waif. Distribution: Native of w. Asia and Mediterranean Europe.
